A Stone Slinger is a truck mounted spreader that delivers and spreads various construction, landscape and playground materials. Unlike a Gravel Truck, that can only dump the material where they can back the truck up to, a Stone Slinger will deliver your material up to 100 feet (31 metres) away from where we can get the truck, to exactly where you want it, so long as we have line of sight from the truck.

A hopper and conveyor belt are used to distribute materials from the bed of a stone slinger truck, whereas dump trucks’ beds tilt over to dump off the materials.

Stone Slinger trucks supply a variety of aggregate materials up to 2″ in diameter such as Sand, Crushed Gravel, Clear Crushed Gravel, Road Base, Drainage Rock, Crushed Rock, Gravel (2″ minus). In addition to aggregate, Stone Slingers also Sling materials such as Topsoil, Mulch, Playground Chips and pretty much anything else you can use a gravel truck to deliver, albeit much more conveniently and in almost all cases, more economically.

Stone slingers are utilized for Commercial, Landscape, Underground Utilities and Hardscape projects that demand the rapid and efficient movement of huge and frequently heavy amounts of aggregate and dirt from one area to another.

Stone slinger trucks are frequently used for projects that require precise placement of dirt and aggregates in difficult-to-reach areas, such as over fences, down steep slopes, and inside and outside of foundations.
